The city was created 175 years ago in 1848.

Stockton is a city in California's Central Valley located about 60 miles east of the San Francisco Bay Area. With over 310,000 residents, it is the 13th largest city in the state.

Stockton was founded in the 1840s during the Gold Rush era. Today, it is an agricultural and industrial hub, as well as a popular spot for outdoor recreation.
