State College is a city located in the county of Centre in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Its population at the 2010 census was 42,034 and a population density of 9,218 people per km². After 10 years in 2020 city had an estimated population of 41,366 inhabitants.

The city was created 128 years ago in 1895.

Just south of town is Beaver Stadium, where Penn State’s football team plays. To the north is Discovery Space, a children’s science museum with dozens of interactive exhibits that kids love!
