Page is a city in Coconino County, Arizona, United States. It is located on the Colorado River at the bottom of Glen Canyon and just north of Lake Powell. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 7,247.
The city was named for John C. Page, who was an early settler in this area. Page is also known as "the Sportsman's Paradise" due to its many lakes and rivers where fishing and boating are popular activities.
The city was founded in the early 1900s as a construction camp for the builders of the Glen Canyon Dam. Today, Page's population includes many retirees who have made their homes here after retiring from careers in other parts of the country. There are also many young families who are drawn to Page by its close proximity to outdoor activities such as boating and fishing on Lake Powell or hiking at Antelope Canyon.
In addition to extensive fishing opportunities, you can also explore the surrounding area by hiking or biking through some of our many trails or exploring one of our many points of interest like Antelope Canyon or Goosenecks State Park which are both only minutes away from town!
