Lambertville is a small, unincorporated town in Monroe County, Michigan. It's located just outside of the city of Monroe, between the cities of Flint and Ann Arbor.
The town was founded in 1831 by James Lambert, who built a sawmill on the Grand River. The area became known as "Lambert's Mills," which eventually became Lambertville.
As you might expect from its name, Lambertville is full of beautiful nature—it's just a short drive to nearby Sugarloaf Mountain and Lake Erie Metropark. In addition to its natural beauty, Lambertville has a thriving arts community with several art galleries and museums.
