Aquinnah
Aquinnah, formerly known as Gay Head, is located at the westernmost point of Martha's Vineyard. Aquinnah is home to the Aquinnah Cliffs, a National Natural Landmark known for its impressive clay cliffs and colorful striations. The cliffs and the surrounding landscape are culturally significant to the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head. Aquinnah has a small year-round population of about 300 residents.
Chilmark
