Bremen is a village located in Cook County, Illinois, about 25 miles south of Chicago. It is part of Bremen Township which includes several other communities.
History
First settled in the 1850s, Bremen played an important role in the railroad industry. Many original nineteenth century buildings still stand today as historic landmarks, including the Bremen Bank and Old Plank Road.
