Allegheny County, county in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of 2020 county had an estimated population of 1,211,358 inhabitants. The county was created 236 years ago in 1788. Its county seat is Pittsburgh.

Duquesne: The third-largest city in the county and the 44th-largest in the state, with a population of 5,565. It is located east of Pittsburgh, on the Monongahela River. It is also a historic and industrial city, once home to one of the largest steel mills in the world. It has a diverse and resilient community, featuring the Duquesne City Hall, the Duquesne-West Mifflin Boys & Girls Club, and the Duquesne Light Company.
Clairton: The fourth-largest city in the county and the 63rd-largest in the state, with a population of 6,432. It is located south of Pittsburgh, on the Monongahela River. It is also a historic and industrial city, known for its coke production and steelmaking. It has a proud and vibrant community, featuring the Clairton Public Library, the Clairton Education Center, and the Clairton Bears football team.
